BevCam’s “Conversations with the Candidates”

Scott Houseman has long enjoyed connecting voters with their elected representatives. In 2003, he collaborated with Rob McCausland, the Executive Director of BevCam, to start a new program called “Conversations with the Candidates”. Since then, Scott has represented BevCam in its non-partisan co-production of this cable TV show, co-interviewing dozens of candidates for Beverly’s Mayor, City Council, School Committee, and State Representative. He has also interviewed candidates for Governor and Congress.

This program would not be possible without the many co-hosts and other behind-the-scenes volunteers who have appeared. They are too many to name here, but Scott salutes them all for their indispensible contributions.

Scott looks forward to more interviews on BevCam, as your State Representative, as a effective way to communicate with Beverly’s voters about the important challenges we face and opportunities we can seize to make Beverly a better place to live.
