Many in our community are experiencing the impact of this great recession. We need jobs that come from business growth. State government can work in two ways to help: giving incentives for growth and reducing obstacles to growth. Scott will work on:
- Tax incentives for high value jobs in biotech, green energy, life sciences
- Renewable energy policy to help businesses in wind and solar power
- Reducing red-tape that makes running small businesses unnecessarily hard
- Opportunities to attract business to Beverly and grow our city tax base
